Bird Caring

Hello, and welcome to the bird caring part of the website! You must either be thinking of getting a bird, or have a bird! Either way, you may not know how to properly take care of birds!

Please take a look at how to take care of your bird, and what foods to feed them!

  1. Give your bird(s) a cage that gives it space to walk about in. If you have multiple bids in one cage, think about having a larger one! Also, having more than 1 type of bird in the same cage is ok, as long as they get along!
  2. Always have water available for your bird! Change it twice a day! If you don’t, bacteria will get into their water, and your birds may get sick.
  3. Always have a cuttlebone in the cage for your bird, and check on it from time to time, and see if it’s time to replace it.
  4. You should take your birds out once a day! Your birds will appreciate it, and they will show it over time!
  5.  Clean your birds cages once a week, and clean all of their toys with bird cleaner.
  6. Feed your birds about an ounce of food for parakeet sized birds, but for other sizes, you should consult your local veterinarian, or your local pet shop!
  7.  When your bird is starting to be able to fly, get it’s wings clipped, unless if it’s trained and you trust it flying around freely!
