When adding a new member to the family, you always have to make it safe. If you put a baby in your house, you don’t want it to get into wires or matches. So, why let your pet?
Here’s a list of things to do to make your home, a pets home.
- Always have water available
- Feed 1-
2 times a day - Keep electric wires out of reach
- Keep all sharp objects in drawers
- Make sure that the ground is cleared of small hazards, like staples, paper clips, beads, etc.
- Keep borderlines for where your pet is allowed to go, with baby gates, or enclosed rooms***
- Keep all chemicals/cleaners away from the play area
All of these rules apply to any pet that’s let out of their cage or doesn’t have a cage.
